Midwest Coven Cast was created to provide a community for modern pagans who find themselves stumbling through the discovery and growth process of their own spirituality, all while also making their way through the ins and outs of the modern world.

This is an evil question to ask a film, literature, and media studies scholar. Honestly, it depends on the day and would be at least slightly easier if I could choose favorites in specific categories. As such,I refuse to answer. I suppose I will at least say I have yet to be disappointed by a Goldie Hawn joint.

I feel music down to my soul and even write some of my own. I really love and connect to music from Sara Bareilles, Leon Bridges, Bon Iver, Meghan Tonjes, Luna Blake, Michael Kiwanuka Millie Tizzard & Queen Herby.

Probably my mom, but if we are going more mainstream, I think Michelle Obama is an incredible human.

I don't spend much time indulging in films anymore, but I am still a fan of some of my old favorites, like Donnie Darko, Elizabethtown, and Garden state.

I love discovering new music and bands that aren't always what you typically hear on the radio. I love artists that can bring good vibes and interact with fans like they are part of the family. A few of my favorites include: Bumpin Uglies, Fleetwood Mac, Joint Operation, Todrick Hall, and Tropidelic.

I am a HUGE fan of movies and TV shows. I prefer longer storylines that movie and TV series can offer. I have such a hard time picking one favorite so I’ll just have to say Star Wars, Harry Potter, & X-Men are definitely some of my go-tos and I love most of Disney/Pixar’s collaborations. I have way too many to list though.

My mom, she is someone that I see consistently show up in this world with a generous heart and a loving spirit. She is open-minded to others viewpoints but stays true to her own views. She is always patient with others and supportive. If there is anyone in this world I wish I could grow up to be like it's definitely my mom.
